Donald John Trump was the 45th President of the United States, before it he was a successful business magnate and television personality. also, he has authored over 60 books.


Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York. His mother’s family was from Outer Hebrides, Scotland, and his father’s family was German. All four of his grandparents were born and raised in Europe.

His paternal grandfather, Friedrich Trump, was originally from Kallstadt, a small village in Germany, but he immigrated to the United States in 1885 when he was only 16 years old.

He had his initial schooling in the Kew Forest School, Forest Hills, New York.

At the age of 13, his parents sent him to New York Military Academy in Upstate New York where he performed well, both socially and academically, emerging as a star athlete and student leader by the time he graduated in 1964.

Trump entered Fordham University in 1964.

He transferred to the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania two years later and graduated in 1968 with a degree in economics, during his years at college, Trump worked at his father’s real estate business during the summer.


Donald Trump announced his official candidacy for President of the United States on June 16, 2015, during a speech at Trump Tower. His speech focused on many issues of high interest for Americans.

He highlighted illegal immigration, Islamic terrorism, and national debt as his main priorities for the campaign his slogan, “Make America Great Again,” quickly became very popular.

As a presidential nominee, he adopted a populist political stance and supported a broad interpretation of the Second Amendment.

His tax plan calling for reducing the corporate tax rate to 15% and replacing the Affordable Care Act (“Obamacare”) with a different free-market plan earned him support from several quarters.

His pledge to ban Muslims coming into the US has been criticized by many world figures and the US Pentagon. It would include banning many Muslims who are allies in the fight against terrorism.

However, this has been controversial both at home and abroad.

The Pentagon issued a statement that “anything that bolsters ISIL’s narrative and pits the United States against the Muslim faith is certainly not only contrary to our values but contrary to our national security.”

On January 20, 2017, Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States. He is now the wealthiest president in U.S. history and also the first president without professional experience in government.

To avoid conflict of interest between his work as president and his work as a businessman, Trump resigned from all of his roles within The Trump Organization. His two adult sons, Don, Jr., and Eric took over the family business.
