Adding that hospitals are in a “critical situation.”
“The first priority for African countries is to increase oxygen production,”
And the Bloomberg News Agency quotes the regional head of the World Health Organization, Moeti, as saying.
The African continent is suffering from the worst outbreak of the Coronavirus
as one million additional cases during the past month
after it took three months to record one million cases previously.
Moeti added that new cases of infection rose for the eighth consecutive week.
